If I don’t have a username and password, can I still place an order?
Are SuperMoss mosses alive?
SuperMoss mosses, lichen, and other botanical elements have been dried and/or preserved and are no longer alive, so they do not require water or maintenance.
How long will the moss last?
Longevity depends on how it is handled and where it is used. Exposure to the elements such as the sun, UV light, and heat will cause color fading and shorten lifetimes of natural products.
Do your mosses have chemicals?
Our color-enhanced and preserved mosses use non-toxic preserving agents that are GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) for color enhancing and typical human use. They are safe for people, pets, and plants. If you’re looking for a completely chemical/additive free products, you’ll want to stick with dried products like our Sphagnum and Bark.
Are the colors colorfast?
Color transfer and color bleeding may occur under certain conditions. Use caution to protect surfaces and fine finishes especially in high humidity conditions. Colors maybe be removed easily with standard cleaning solutions.
Are your products safe around pets? Can they be used in terrariums?
Our products are historically safe around large pets and our natural products have no issues whatsoever. For pets in terrariums, we recommend the non-preserved and naturally dried mosses. The only product that we do not recommend for terrariums is Wolfen Lichen.
How long does it take to process an order before it ships?
It typically takes us 5-7 business days to process order before we ship. Naturally, smaller orders ship faster than large ones.
What do I do if an item is out of stock?
If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible when the item will be back in stock.
Are there minimum quantities for orders?
We do have a minimum order amount of $350 for Wholesale accounts.
What is the best way to store SuperMoss products?
First, we recommend opening up the box your product was shipped in to make sure too much moisture does not get trapped with the product. If you are putting the product in storage, we suggest storing in a dry, dark area away from the weather. Our moss lasts the longest out of direct sunlight. Make sure you use older product first so that the product isn’t stored for too long.
