Q. ARE SUPERMOSS MOSSES ALIVE?
A. Despite being incredibly lifelike, SuperMoss Preserved Mosses have been dried and/or preserved using our natural oils that are non-toxic to plants or animals, and are therefore no longer living. The preservation process permanently stops any drying, decay, or deterioration of the moss. This allows our Preserved Mosses to stay lush and vibrant for years to come, without requiring water or maintenance of any kind!
Q. DO SUPERMOSS MOSSES REQUIRE SUNLIGHT?
A. SuperMoss Mosses are preserved and thus do not require sunlight, as they are no longer living. In fact, if kept indoors and out of direct sunlight, they will stay looking lush and vibrant in your space for years to come.

A. SuperMoss Mosses are preserved and thus do not require watering or maintenance of any kind, as they are no longer living. Adding water may cause some of our natural dyes to migrate, although they are non-toxic to plants and animals so there is nothing to worry about.
Q. HOW MUCH MOSS DO I NEED TO COVER X SQUARE FEET?
A. Each product page has general tips on how much to use per square foot. The three most common mosses for walls are Reindeer Moss, Mood Moss, and Royal Pool Moss. Allow for 1 lb of Reindeer Moss per Square Foot, 1/2 lb of Mood Moss per Square Foot, and 3/4 lb of Royal Pool Moss per Square Foot.
Q. HOW LONG DOES PRESERVED MOSS LAST?
A. The longevity of our preserved mosses depend on how it is handled and where it is used. Exposure to the elements such as the sun, UV light, and heat will cause color fading and shorten the lifetimes of natural products. Typically, the lifespan of preserved moss ranges between 2 to 10 years in ideal conditions. A preserved moss wall that remains untouched by sunlight, moisture, or human hands can stay looking lush and vibrant for years to come.
Q. WILL PRESERVED MOSS REGROW?
A. Preserved Moss is no longer alive, so will not regrow on its own, but should stay looking lush and vibrant for years to come without the need for watering or maintenance.

Q. ARE THE COLORS COLORFAST?
A. Color transfer and color bleeding may occur under certain conditions. Use caution to protect surfaces and fine finishes, especially in high humidity conditions. Colors may be removed with standard cleaning solutions.
Q. HOW DO I CARE FOR THE MOSS BIRDHOUSES & BASKETS?
A. Our moss birdhouses and baskets have a woven preserved moss liner that doesn’t require any specific care or maintenance. They will last longer if kept out of direct sunlight and with some protection from the elements. They are made of moss, wire, wicker, and rattan. When left outside, the structural integrity will last years, however please expect the color to fade to a more natural green when kept in direct sunlight.
Q. ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE AROUND PETS?
A. Our moss products are safe around large pets and all of our natural products contain no preservatives or dyes whatsoever. For pets in terrariums, we recommend our non-preserved and naturally dried mosses. The only product that we specifically do not recommend for pets is Wolfen Lichen.

A. Not only are they beautiful and maintenance free, SuperMoss Preserved Mosses are incredibly fire resistant by design, no matter the color or style. Preserved SuperMoss Walls are perfect for offices and workspaces, as well as lobbies, waiting rooms, showrooms, and of course, your living room!
Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP AN ORDER?
A. It may take us 2-5 business days to process your order before we ship. We are not open weekends or holidays. Naturally, smaller orders ship faster than large ones. Wholesale orders can vary in processing time depending on product ordered and availability.

A. Mosses and fungi are fundamentally different. A moss is a plant and perfectly safe.

A. Preserved Moss generally has a natural, earthy, & woodsy aroma. Preserved Moss Walls can give an indoor space an aura of the great outdoors for the first 1 to 2 weeks.
Q. DOES PRESERVED MOSS ATTRACT BUGS?
A. Unlike a Living Moss Wall, SuperMoss Preserved Moss will not attract any bugs into your space and does not make a great home for invading insects. They will just have to look elsewhere!
Q. DO YOU SHIP TO CANADA & INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS?
A. Yes, we can ship worldwide to any country especially to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, & Puerto Rico. Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii are calculated at checkout, but all other locations outside of the continental USA will need to get an international shipping quote approved beforehand, and then we’ll coordinate the rest!

Q. IT LOOKS LIKE I WAS CHARGED TWICE FOR MY ORDER. CAN YOU PLEASE FIX THIS?
A. Not to worry, online payment processing happens in two stages: Credit Hold Pre-Authorization, and the Final Charge. When the card is charged after shipping, the “pre-auth” will automatically disappear from your statement, even though it looks like a duplicate charge was made.
